Graduated from CCRI School of Nursing.  Worked at Kent Hospital on orthopedic medsurg unit.  Owner of The Right Choice Physical Therapy, Inc from July 2004 until present.  For past seven years she has worked on insurance verifications and billing issues, while managing the front office.  Cheryl is certified as a Reiki Master Practitioner.

Graduated from University of Rhode Island with masters of science in physical therapy in 2001.  Received bachelors of science from California University of Pennsylvania in 1998.  Has studied Mulligan Technique under Brian Mulligan and Myofascial Release (MFR) under John Barnes, as well as rehabilitation/sports training through Vern Gambetta and JC Santana.  Has had the opportunity to work with numerous college and professional athletes from football, soccer, baseball, softball and track/cross-country.  Matthew's continuing education focus is on Orthopedics,
Sports Medicine and Manual Therapy.

The Right Choice Physical Therapy, Inc. was originally started by Mark Nelson and his wife Cheryl Nelson to meet the need for quality physical therapy care in the West Greenwich region.  Mark had previously worked in several outpatient facilities as well as at the local hospital on the orthopedic floor.  The Right Choice Physical Therapy is the first physical therapy clinic opened in West Greenwich, Mark and Cheryl both live in West Greenwich, and try to give back to the local community.  The Right Choice Physical Therapy, Inc. works with local high school athletics to keep students competing. ​


Graduated from Newbury College in 1981 with an associates in applied science, PTA.  Graduated from University of Rhode Island in 1994 with a bachelors of science degree.  Mark is trained in myofascial release (MFR) by John Barnes and has worked in many disciplines, including Inpatient, burn treatment, outpatient, special needs and sports medicine.  Mark has had the opportunity to work with a number of professional athletes from a variety of sports.  Mark's continuing education is focused on outpatient, orthopedics and sports medicine.
